JACKSON - Dr. Adam Luka, a specialist in comprehensive eye care, joined the Eye Clinic, PC, adding a new eye surgeon to its team.
Luka focuses on the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration, as well as pathology of the eyelids, ocular emergencies and eye exams. He is board eligible with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
"I'm excited to join the ranks of the fine doctors at the Eye Clinic and bring better vision to patients throughout the Jackson community," Luka said.
He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University, Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, La. He completed his internship at Virginia Tech, Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va., and his ophthalmology residency at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis.
At the Eye Clinic, Dr. Luka joins ophthalmologists Dr. Sean Neel, Dr. Jason Sullivan, Dr. Mark Bateman and Dr. Hilary Grissom and optometrists Dr. Molly Lee and Dr. James Smith.
